Angler opened on the Embarcadero in 2018 as Joshua Skenes's seafood-forward sister to Saison. The dining room faces the Bay Bridge through floor-to-ceiling windows; the menu is seafood-led with a wood-fired hearth.
Resy opens two weeks ahead. Bay-side window tables go first; the bar and the back room are easier same-week doors.

An operator reviews the request, checks the room, and sends a confirmation that we are working it. Usually within thirty minutes.
We work the room.
We reach the floor manager directly, by phone or by text, depending on the night. We do not refresh Resy. We make a call.
You are confirmed.
We charge the card and send your confirmation — the time and the name to give the host.
You eat.
Walk into Angler SF, give your name at the host stand, sit down. The room takes it from there. We do not see you again until the next request.
