Carbone's private and holiday calendar runs separately from the public Resy door. New Year's Eve, buyouts, and the private dining room (Neil T.) book through the host stand and the Major Food Group private events team, not the public reservation channel.
The path in is a phone call to the restaurant or an email to the private events desk. The buyout calendar opens months ahead; NYE and the year-end stretch are the hardest single nights in the room's calendar. Walk-ins for the public Carbone dining room are a separate question handled at the bar.

We reach the floor manager directly, by phone or by text, depending on the night. We do not refresh Resy. We make a call.
You are confirmed.
We charge the card and send your confirmation — the time and the name to give the host.
You eat.
Walk into Carbone Neil T (NYE/private), give your name at the host stand, sit down. The room takes it from there. We do not see you again until the next request.
