The dining room sits one flight up off Madison Avenue, and it is small by design. Seven Michelin stars in a row have made the intimate upstairs room one of the most quietly coveted seats in the city, and a kitchen led by Edgar Panchernikov turns out a caviar-built tasting menu that climbs to an eleven-course Grand Tasting. With so few tables and a clientele that books them again and again, prime evenings vanish the moment they open, and a weekend seat at the right hour is rarely there for the asking.
We watch this room the way a regular would. We track the night you want, sit on the table as the calendar releases, and stay on the cancellations that surface when plans change late.
