The dining room runs on a single wood-fired grill and a kitchen turning out pasta by hand, which means a finite number of prime tables every night. Reservations open exactly 28 days ahead at noon Eastern, and the desirable evening seatings are gone within moments of the clock striking twelve. The bar and lounge upstairs take walk-ins, but the dining room near the fire is the seat people want, and it is the one that disappears first. Danny Meyer's name, Hillary Sterling's cooking, and a recent run as the most talked-about Italian table in the city keep demand far ahead of supply.
We work the release for you. The moment the 28-day window opens at noon, we are there for the date you want, and we keep watching the cancellations in the days that follow for the seating you actually asked for. When we land it, the table is booked in your name at Ci Siamo, on your night, ready when you arrive. Same room, same date, every time. We never move you to another evening and never send you somewhere else.

We charge the card and send your confirmation — the time and the name to give the host.
You eat.
Walk into Ci Siamo, give your name at the host stand, sit down. The room takes it from there. We do not see you again until the next request.
