Why Gage & Tollner is hard to book
There is one room, and it is the whole point. Gage & Tollner runs a single landmarked dining room on Fulton Street, the same space first opened in 1879 and protected by the city since 1974, with its brass gas chandeliers, arched cherry-wood mirrors and brocade panels intact. A room that beloved fills fast. When the team reopened it in 2021 it landed on the New York Times Top 100 almost immediately, and the prime Friday and Saturday seatings have been the hardest part of the night to get ever since. Tables release in a single batch four weeks ahead at ten in the morning, and the best windows are claimed within minutes while the rest of the calendar stays stubbornly full.
We work the clock so you do not have to. The instant the four-week window opens at ten Eastern, we are there to claim the night you asked for, and when the calendar reads full we keep watching for the cancellations that surface as the date approaches. We secure the table in your name, at Gage & Tollner, on the date you want. Same room, same night, never a swap and never a different restaurant.
