Rita Sodi opened I Sodi on Christopher Street in 2008 and built one of the city's quietest, most controlled Tuscan rooms. The lasagna and the negroni list anchor the menu; the dining room seats about forty and has been hard for over a decade. Via Carota is the team's other West Village door.
Resy opens two weeks ahead. Prime tables clear in the first minute; weeknights and the late seatings stay open longer. The bar takes walk-ins for a shorter menu; Via Carota and Pisellino are the sibling rooms within a few blocks.

Walk into I Sodi, give your name at the host stand, sit down. The room takes it from there. We do not see you again until the next request.
