Pim Techamuanvivit opened Kin Khao in a Union Square hotel lobby and earned a Michelin star for a regional Thai menu that pulled from her family's recipes and Thailand's regional cooking. The dining room is small and the kitchen runs a tight format.
Resy opens two weeks ahead. Weekend prime tables clear first; weeknights and the late seatings stay open longer. The bar takes walk-ins when a seat opens.
