Why Scarpetta is hard to book
Scarpetta has carried a three-star New York Times review and a James Beard Best New Restaurant nomination since it opened in 2008, and the demand has never cooled. The dining room at 88 Madison Avenue fills its prime evening seatings first, and the tables people actually want, a Friday or Saturday at eight, are claimed the moment a new day of availability opens. The window is narrow, the seats are finite, and they go fast.
We watch the moment new dates open and we watch the cancellations that surface in the days before, and we secure the table in your name for the night you asked for. Same room, same date, never a substitute. You tell us when you want to be at Scarpetta. We handle the rest, and you walk in to a table waiting under your name.
