Sons & Daughters has held its Michelin star quietly for over a decade in a thirty-something-seat dining room on Nob Hill. The tasting menu is six to eight courses, the kitchen leans California-forward, and the price-to-quality ratio is one of the better ones in the Bay's starred rooms.
Tock opens about three weeks ahead. The weekend seatings clear first; weeknights stay available longer. The room is small enough that even a partial table can shift the night's tone.

An operator reviews the request, checks the room, and sends a confirmation that we are working it. Usually within thirty minutes.
We work the room.
We reach the floor manager directly, by phone or by text, depending on the night. We do not refresh Resy. We make a call.
You are confirmed.
We charge the card and send your confirmation — the time and the name to give the host.
You eat.
Walk into Sons & Daughters, give your name at the host stand, sit down. The room takes it from there. We do not see you again until the next request.
