The whole place is roughly a dozen tables and a counter overlooking the open grill, so there is almost no inventory to begin with. Demand has never cooled since Joe Carroll turned the room over to live fire in 2011, and the Butcher's Steak and Ax Handle Rib Eye keep regulars coming back on a loop. Prime-time seats move the moment they post, and showing up after seven on a weekend usually means a new dinner plan. A small room plus a loyal crowd is the hardest kind of table to land.

We watch the release the instant it opens, thirty days out at midnight Eastern, and we keep watching the cancellations right up to the night you want. The moment a seat surfaces, we secure it and hold it in your name. Same room, same date, the night you actually want to be there. We never move you to another evening and never send you somewhere else.

You ask.

Tell us the night, the time window, the party size. Two minutes on this page. Card on file, not charged.

We confirm the request.

An operator reviews the request, checks the room, and sends a confirmation that we are working it. Usually within thirty minutes.

We work the room.

We reach the floor manager directly, by phone or by text, depending on the night. We do not refresh Resy. We make a call.

You are confirmed.

We charge the card and send your confirmation — the time and the name to give the host.

05

You eat.

Walk into St. Anselm, give your name at the host stand, sit down. The room takes it from there. We do not see you again until the next request.
