The room is small and the demand is not. The Golden Swan lives in a two-story West Village townhouse, and the elevated experience happens upstairs in a dining room with limited seats, where dishes like Dover sole and cote de boeuf are finished tableside. Tables open on a rolling basis ahead of each date, and the prime evening windows on weekends are claimed within minutes of release. Walk-ins gravitate to the ground-floor bar; the upstairs room is the one everyone is actually trying to get into, and there are only so many seats to go around.
We secure the table in your name for the night you want. The booking window opens roughly thirty days ahead at an exact moment, and we are watching it the instant it does, then watching the cancellations that follow right up to the night itself. You tell us the date; we hold the room. Always the same venue and the same date you asked for, never a substitute and never a different evening.
