The Occidental has run alongside the Willard hotel since 1906 with a wall of signed political portraits and a steakhouse menu. The room sits at the intersection of tourism and lobby work; the secondary-market trade volume is one of DC's highest in its rank band.
Resy opens two weeks ahead. Pre-theater tables clear first; the bar takes walk-ins for the full menu. The hotel's other dining rooms are separate reservations from the same property.

We charge the card and send your confirmation — the time and the name to give the host.
You eat.
Walk into The Occidental Washington, give your name at the host stand, sit down. The room takes it from there. We do not see you again until the next request.
